Remember Me? - Amy Patterson Morledge

Remember Me?  - Amy Patterson Morledge

After high school, Amy attended Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia.  While at OBU, she was active as member of the Tiger Cheerleading Squad and her social club, EEE.  Amy's major was Christian Studies with an emphasis in Counseling and Ministries.

After college Amy moved to Little Rock and began working at St. James United Methodist Church as the Director of Elementary Weekday Ministries. In 2007, Amy met a guy from Little Rock named Birc Morledge at a wedding for a mutual friend.  Birc attended Hendrix with Amy's sister Anna (SHS class of 2000).  At that June wedding of a mutual friend, Birc and Amy hit it off and started dating.  They were married in June of 2010 in Searcy.  Shortly before Christmas of last year, Amy and Birc welcomed a sweet baby girl, Savannah Cate Morledge.

What is one of your favorite high school memories?
Can't pick just one...cheerleading and choir events, hanging out with friends in general and being involved in so many things.

Remember Me?: Michael Prichard

Hello classmates!

Today starts a new kind of blog post for our class.  While some of us have kept in touch with our classmates, some of us might not know what is going on in our classmates' lives.  Because of that, we will have periodic "Remember Me?" blog posts featuring graduates.  If you would like to update the class on what you have been doing the last ten years, please email us at searcylion2002@gmail.com.

Remember Me?: Michael Prichard

After graduation, Michael moved to Conway to major in early childhood education and ministry at UCA. He just moved back to Searcy and is looking for ministry opportunities in Arkansas.  For the past three years, he and his wife of two years, Jessica Garner (Searcy class of 2004), lived in Wichita Falls, Texas where he worked as a children's pastor.  Michael and Jessica are expecting their first child this summer - a girl, Miss Lila Grace Prichard.

Michael also answered these questions:
What have you been doing the past ten years?
I spent a few years running from God, but finally submitted to His calling and have been preaching for the past 5 years.

What is one of your favorite high school memories?
Staying the night at Joseph Yingling's house...never a dull moment.

What was your favorite class in school?
Art and Doc Watson's class.

Who was your favorite teacher?
Doc Watson

Who are you most looking forward to seeing?
John Mark Johnson, because I haven't heard anything from him or even heard from him since we graduated!!

Thanks to Michael for answering our questions and being the first graduate featured in a "Remember Me?" blog post.  Again, if you want to add your information, please email us a brief update and answer the questions above to searcylion2002@gmail.com.
